Syntax show ip interface [interface | brief] [configuration] Parameter interface brief configuration (OPTIONAL) Enter the following keywords and slot/port or number information: • For a Loopback interface, enter the keyword Loopback followed by a number from 0 to 16383. • For the Management interface, enter the keyword ManagementEthernet followed by zero (0). • For the Null interface, enter the keyword null followed by zero (0). • For a Port Channel interface, enter the keyword port-channel followed by a number: Range: 1 to 128 • For a 10-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword TenGigabitEthernet followed by the slot/port information. • For a 40-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword fortyGigE followed by the slot/port information. • For a VLAN, enter the keyword vlan followed by a number from 1 to 4094. (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword brief to view a brief summary of the interfaces and whether an IP address is assigned. (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword configuration to display the physical interfaces with non-default configurations only. Internet address... Description Displays the interface's type, slot/port and physical and line protocol status. States whether an IP address is assigned to the interface.
