In the Host Configuration section, configure the following settings: • From the IP Address Type menu, select the address type of host. - IPv4 - IPv6 - DNS • In the Host Address field, specify the address of the host configured for the syslog. • In the Port field, specify the port on the host to which syslog messages are sent. The default port is 514. • Select the severity option in the Severity Filter list. A log records messages equal to or above a configured severity threshold. These severity levels are available: - Emergency (0). The system is unusable - Alert (1). Action must be taken immediately - Critical (2). Critical conditions - Error (3). Error conditions - Warning (4). Warning conditions - Notice (5). Normal but significant conditions - Informational (6). Informational messages - Debug (7). Debug-level messages 6.
