NETGEAR 8800 Chassis Switch CLI Manual Uploading the ASCII Configuration File To a TFTP Server To upload the current switch configuration as an ASCII-based file to the TFTP server, use the upload configuration command and save the configuration with the .xsf file extension. For example, to transfer the current switch configuration as an ASCII-based file named meg_upload_config1.xsf to the TFTP server with an IP address of 10.10.10.10, do the following: upload configuration 10.10.10.10 meg_upload_config1.xsf If you successfully upload the configuration to the TFTP server, the switch displays a message similar to the following: Uploading meg_upload_config1.xsf to 10.10.10.10 ... done! Downloading the ASCII Configuration File to the Switch To download the configuration from the TFTP server to the switch, use the tftp command.
