164 CHAPTER 6: USING ROUTING PROTOCOL COMMANDS filter-policy import Syntax filter-policy gateway ip_prefix_name import undo filter-policy gateway ip_prefix_name import filter-policy { acl_number | ip-prefix ip_prefix_name [ gateway ip-prefix-name ] | route-policy route-policy-name } import undo filter-policy { acl_number | ip-prefix ip_prefix_name | [ gateway ip-prefix-name ] | route-policy route-policy-name } import View RIP View Parameters gateway ip_prefix_name Enter the name of the address prefix list. This is used to filter the addresses of this neighboring routers advertising the routing information. acl_number Enter an ACL number. This is used to filter the destination addresses of the routing information. ip_prefix_name Enter the name of the address prefix list. This is used to filter the destination addresses of the routing information. route-policy-name: Route policy name that filters routing information. After enabling RIP protocol, you can determine which routes are to be sent/received based on acl/cost/interface/ip/ip-prefix/tag fields. Description Use the filter-policy gateway import command to configure the switch to filter the routing information received from a specified address. Use the undo filter-policy gateway import command to configure the switch not to filter the routing information received from the specified address. Use the filter-policy import command to configure the switch to filter global routing information. Use the undo filter-policy import command to disable filtering of received global routing information. By default, RIP does not filter the received routing information. Related commands: acl, filter-policy export, ip ip-prefix. Example To configure the filtering of the global routing information using acl 2000, enter the following: system-view System View: return to User View with Ctrl+Z.
