358 CHAPTER 11: USING AAA AND RADIUS COMMANDS By default, the domain used by centralized MAC address authentication user is null, that is, not configured. Example To configure the domain used by the MAC address to Cams, enter the following: system-view System View: return to User View with Ctrl+Z. [SW5500]mac-authentication domain Cams mac-authentication timer Syntax mac-authentication timer { offline-detect offline-detect-value | quiet quiet-value | server-timeout server-timeout-value } undo mac-authentication timer { offline-detect | quiet | server-timeout } View System View Parameter offline-detect: Offline-detect timer, set the time interval for the Switch to detect whether the user is offline. offline-detect-value: Period set by the offline-detect timer, ranging from 1 to 65535, in seconds. The default value is 300 seconds. quiet: Quiet timer. If the user fails authentication, the Switch needs a period of quiet time (set by the quiet timer) before it re-authenticates. The Switch does not authenticate during the quiet time. quiet-value: Period set by the quiet timer, ranging from 1 to 65535, in minutes. The default value is 1. server-timeout: Server timeout timer. During the authentication to the user, if the connection between the Switch and the RADIUS server times out, the Switch denies the user's access to the network on corresponding ports. server-timeout-value: Period set by the server timeout timer, ranging form 1 to 65535, in seconds. The default value is 100 seconds. Description Use the mac-authentication timer command to configure timer parameters of the centralized MAC address authentication. Use the undo mac-authentication timer command to restore the value to the defaults. For the related command, see display mac-authentication.
