Description Use the preference command to configure the route preference of RIP. Use the undo preference command to restore the default preference. The default value of each routing protocol is determined by the specific routing policy. This "preference" determines the optimal route in the IP routing table. You can use this command to modify the RIP preference. Example To specify an RIP preference of 20, enter the following: system-view System View: return to User View with Ctrl+Z.
