422 CHAPTER 12: USING SYSTEM MANAGEMENT COMMANDS By default, the file transmission mode is ASCII mode. Perform this command if the user needs to change the file transmission mode to default mode. Example Configure to transmit data in the ASCII mode. [ftp]ascii 200 Type set to A. binary Syntax binary View FTP Client view Parameter None Description Use the binary command to configure file transmission type as binary mode. Example Configure to transmit data in the binary mode. After performing this command, you can terminate the control connection and data connection with the remote FTP Server.
