462 CHAPTER 12: USING SYSTEM MANAGEMENT COMMANDS Description Use the info-center channel name command to rename a channel specified by the channel-number as channel-name. . Using the undo info-center channel command, you can restore the channel name. Note that the channel name cannot be duplicated. Example Rename channel 0 as execconsole. system-view System View: return to User View with Ctrl+Z. [SW5500]info-center channel 0 name execconsole info-center console Syntax channel info-center console channel { channel-number | channel-name } undo info-center console channel View System view Parameter channel-number: Channel number, ranging from 0 to 9, that is, system has ten channels. channel-name: : Specify the channel name. The name can be channel6, channel7, channel8, channel9, console, logbuffer, loghost, monitor, snmpagent, trapbuffer. Description Use the info-center console channel command to configure the channel through which the log information is output to the console. By default, the Switch 5500G-EI does not output log information to the console. This command takes effect only after system logging is started. For the related commands, see info-center enable, display info-center.
