Usage Information Related Commands Peers that are enabled within a peer group are disabled when their peer group is disabled. The neighbor shutdown command terminates all BGP sessions on the BGP neighbor or BGP peer group. Use this command with caution as it terminates the specified BGP sessions. When a neighbor or peer group is shut down, use the show ip bgp summary command to confirm its status. show ip bgp summary - displays the current BGP configuration. show ip bgp neighbors - displays the current BGP neighbors. neighbor soft-reconfiguration inbound Enable soft-reconfiguration for BGP. Usage

Information

Peers that are enabled within a peer group are disabled when their peer group is disabled.

The

neighbor shutdown

command terminates all BGP sessions on the BGP neighbor or BGP peer

group. Use this command with caution as it terminates the specified BGP sessions. When a neighbor or

peer group is shut down, use the

show ip bgp summary

command to confirm its status.

Commands

show ip bgp summary

— displays the current BGP configuration.

show ip bgp neighbors

— displays the current BGP neighbors.

neighbor soft-reconfiguration inbound

Enable soft-reconfiguration for BGP.

C9000 Series

Syntax

neighbor {
