Usage Information Version 9.14(0.0) Description Introduced on the C9010, MXL, FN IOM, S3100 series, S3048-ON, S4048-ON, S4048T-ON, S5048F-ON, S6000, S6010-ON, S6100-ON, Z9100-ON, Z9500, and S6000-ON. The peer remains in idle state based on the configured idle-holdtime. The less the idle-holdtime, lesser the peer in idle state. For the new idle-holdtime to take effect, you need to shutdown all the peers manually using neighbor shutdown command and enable the peers again. MBGP Commands Multiprotocol BGP (MBGP) is an enhanced BGP that enables multicast routing policy throughout the internet and connecting multicast topologies between BGP and autonomous systems (ASs). MBGP on the Dell Networking OS is implemented as per IETF RFC 1858. BGPv4 is supported in the following: Version Platform Support 9.9(0.0) 9.2(1.0) 7.8.1.0 7.8.1.0 8.2.1.0 C9010 Z9500 TeraScale and C-Series (MBGP for IPv6) S-Series (MBGP for IPv4 Multicast Only) E-Series ExaScale (MBGP) debug ip bgp dampening View information on routes being dampened. C9000 Series Syntax Parameters debug ip bgp [vrf vrf-name] [ipv4 {unicast | multicast} | ipv6 unicast] dampening To disable debugging, use the no debug ip bgp dampening command. vrf vrf-name ipv4 multicast ipv4 unicast ipv6 unicast Enter the keyword vrf followed by the name of the VRF to view information on dampened routes corresponding to that VRF. (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword ipv4 followed by the keyword multicast to view dampened-route information related only to ipv4 multicast routes. (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword ipv4 followed by the keyword multicast to view dampened-route information related only to ipv4 unicast routes. (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword ipv4 followed by the keyword unicast to view dampened-route information related only to ipv6 unicast routes. . The less the

idle-holdtime

lesser the peer in idle state.

For the new

to take effect, you need to shutdown all the peers manually using

command.
