Parameters interface vrf vrf-name (OPTIONAL) Identifies the interface type slot/port as one of the following: ● For a 1-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword GigabitEthernet then the slot/port information. ● For a 10-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword TenGigabitEthernet then the slot/port/subport information. ● For a 40-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword fortyGigE then the slot/port information. ● For a port channel interface, enter the keywords port-channel then a number. The range is from 1 to 128. ● For a VLAN interface, enter the keyword vlan then a number from 1 to 4094. (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword vrf followed by the name of the VRF to enable the debugging information on IS-IS. This information contains updates from neighbors tied to the VRF that you specify. (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword metric then a number to assign to the route. The range is from 0 to 16777215. To disable the generation of a default route into the specified IS-IS routing domain, use the

default-information originate [always] [metric

command.
