Default: 200 Enter a number to assign to routes learned from networks listed in the network command. Range: 1 to 255. Default: 200 Defaults external-distance = 20; internal-distance = 200; local-distance = 200. Command Modes ROUTER BGP (conf-router_bgp_af) Caution: Dell Networking recommends that you do not change the administrative distance of internal routes. Changing the administrative distances may cause routing table inconsistencies. Usage Information The higher the administrative distance assigned to a route means that your confidence in that route is low. Routes assigned an administrative distance of 255 are not installed in the routing table. Routes from confederations are treated as internal BGP routes.
