www.dell.com | support.dell.com interface range macro (define) s z S6000 Defines a macro for an interface range and then saves the macro in the running configuration. Syntax define interface range macro name interface, interface,... Parameters name interface , interface ,... Enter up to 16 characters for the macro name. Enter the interface keyword (see below) and one of the interfaces slot/port, port-channel or VLAN numbers. Select the range of interfaces for bulk configuration. You can enter up to six comma separated ranges-spaces are not required between the commas. Comma-separated ranges can include VLANs, port-channels and physical interfaces. Slot/Port information must contain a space before and after the dash. For example, interface range gigabitethernet 0/1 - 5 is valid; interface range gigabitethernet 0/1-5 is not valid. • For a 1-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword GigabitEthernet followed by the slot/port information. • For a port channel interface, enter the keyword port-channel followed by a number: S-Series Range: 1-128 • For a 10-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword TenGigabitEthernet followed by the slot/port information. • For a VLAN, enter the keyword vlan followed by a number from 1 to 4094. • For a 40-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword fortyGigE followed by the slot/port information.
