Related Commands banner exec line Configure a banner to display when entering the EXEC mode. Enable and configure console and virtual terminal lines to the system. exec-timeout s z S6000 Set a time interval the system will wait for input on a line before disconnecting the session. Syntax exec-timeout minutes [seconds] To return to default settings, enter no exec-timeout. Parameters minutes seconds Enter the number of minutes of inactivity on the system before disconnecting the current session. Range: 0 to 35791 Default: 10 minutes for console line; 30 minutes for VTY line.
