ip pim sparse-mode s z S6000 Enable PIM sparse mode and IGMP on the interface. Syntax ip pim sparse-mode To disable PIM sparse mode and IGMP, enter no ip pim sparse-mode. Defaults Disabled. Usage Information The interface must be enabled (no shutdown command) and not have the switchport command configured. Multicast must also be enabled globally (using the ip multicast-routing command). PIM is supported on the port-channel interface. Related Commands ip multicast-routing Enable multicast globally. ip pim sparse-mode sg-expiry-timer s z S6000 Enable expiry timers globally for all sources or for a specific set of (S,G) pairs defined by an access list. Syntax ip pim sparse-mode sg-expiry-timer seconds [access-list name] To disable configured timers and return to default mode, enter no ip pim sparse-mode sg-expiry-timer. Parameters seconds access-list name Enter the number of seconds the S, G entries will be retained. Range 211-86400 (OPTIONAL) Enter the name of a previously configured Extended ACL to enable the expiry time to specified S,G entries Defaults Disabled.
