Syntax ip ssh hostbased-authentication enable To disable hostbased-authentication for SSHv2 server, use the no ip ssh hostbased-authentication enable command. Usage Information If this command is enabled, clients can login without a password prompt. This provides two levels of authentication: • rhost-authentication is done with the file specified in the ip ssh rhostfile command • checking client host-keys is done with the file specified in the ip ssh pub-key-file command If no ip ssh rsa-authentication enable is executed, host-based authentication is disabled. Note: Administrators must specify the two files (rhosts and pub-key-file) to configure host-based authentication.
