www.dell.com | support.dell.com IPv6 BGP Commands z s IPv6 Border Gateway Protocol (IPv6 BGP) is supported on platforms S6000 This chapter includes the following commands: • BGP IPv4 Commands • MBGP Commands Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) is an external gateway protocol that transmits interdomain routing information within and between Autonomous Systems (AS). BGP version 4 (BGPv4) supports classless interdomain routing and the aggregation of routes and AS paths. Basically, two routers (called neighbors or peers) exchange information including full routing tables and periodically send messages to update those routing tables. The following commands allow you to configure and enable BGP. • ipv6 prefix-listt • show ipv6 prefix-list ipv6 prefix-list z S6000 Configure an IPv6 prefix list. Syntax ipv6 prefix-list detail {prefix-list name} Parameters prefix-list name Enter the name of the prefix list. Maximum 140 characters. Command Modes CONFIGURATION Command History Version 9.0.2.0 Version 9.0.0.0 Version 8.3.10.0 Introduced on the S6000. Introduced on the Z9000. Introduced on the S4810 show ipv6 prefix-list s z S6000 Displays the specified IPv6 prefix list. Syntax show ipv6 prefix-list detail {prefix-list name} | summary Parameters detail prefix-list name summary Display a detailed description of the selected IPv6 prefix list.
