Padding IS-IS Hellos (IIHS) to the full MTU provides early error detection of large frame transmission problems or mismatched MTUs on adjacent interfaces. Related Commands isis hello padding Turn ON or OFF hello padding on an interface basis. hostname dynamic S6000 Enables dynamic learning of hostnames from routers in the domain and allows the routers to advertise the hostname in LSPs.
