Saving and Exiting For more information about saving changes, see "Saving Documents" in Getting Started. Addressbook automatically safeguards your Addressbook while you are working on it. In the event of a power failure or other problem, your work is probably safe even if you have not used the Save menu choice. By adjusting the Document Safeguarding Time in the Look & Feel section of System Settings, you can control how frequently this safeguarding takes place. If you have made changes or additions to your Addressbook and want to make the changes permanent, you can do this by saving your document. When you open Addressbook in the future, the program looks for a default addressbook. You should save your first Addressbook using the default name which is provided for you entitled First Addressbook. When you finish using Addressbook, you should save your document and exit. If you forget to save, Addressbook will give you one last chance to save your changes. "To save changes to your document: Choose Save from the File menu. Addressbook saves your changes and returns you to the document. OR Click on Save. Addressbook saves your changes and returns you to the document. "To exit Addressbook: Choose Exit from the File menu. OR Click on Exit. The Addressbook window closes and the application exits. If you have unsaved changes in your document, Addressbook asks if you want to save those changes. Addressbook 260
