On-screen Keyboard In any application in which you can enter text, you can display the On-screen Keyboard to create characters and symbols that are not shown on the standard keyboard. For each font available from the document tool bar, there are several symbol and character layouts that can be displayed in the OnĆScreen Keyboard, and then inserted into the text of a document. The On-screen Keyboard will stay open until you close it, even if you switch to another application. It will also disappear temporarily when the cursor is not present. It will reappear when you are entering text. "To display the On-screen Keyboard: Click on the SYM button at the lower right corner of the window. The Symbol keyboard appears in the font you are using. Click on a key with the mouse, and the character appears in your document. OR Click on the Symbols box at the top to see another keyboard in the font you have chosen. "To move the On-screen Keyboard: Click on the empty button to the left of the Symbols box and drag the keyboard. "To close the On-screen Keyboard: Click on the box in the top left corner.
