Value Selector Scrolling List Drop-Down List 2. Type text in the box. If you make a mistake, press BACKSPACE to erase as many characters as necessary and then type the correct text. "To change a value in a value selector: Click on the up arrow button to move to the next item or increase the value. (Click the down arrow button to move to the previous item or decrease the value.) OR If the insertion point is blinking in the value selector, type the appropriate value in the box. If the insertion point is not in the box, move the pointer to it and click. Then, type the appropriate value. (If you make a mistake, press BACKSPACE to erase the number, and then type the correct value.) "To select an item from a scrolling list: Click on the item you want to select. The selected item is highlighted. If the list contains more items than can fit in the window, click the scroll arrow buttons to display other portions of the list, then make your selection. "To open or close a folder from a scrolling list: Double-click on the folder. If it is closed, it will open and the names of the files or folders within it will appear below its name. If it is open, it will close. "To select an item from a drop-down list: 1. Click on the dropĆdown list button. The list drops down so that you can make a different selection. 2.
