6. When the choice you want is highlighted, press SPACEBAR or ENTER. This selects the choice and closes the menu. OR Close the menu without making a choice by pressing ESC. Using Underlined Letters to Make Menu Choices Underlined letter The name of each menu and menu choice has an underlined letter. This is typically the first letter of the choice, unless several choices on a menu share the same first letter. The underlined letter is the one you use to select from a menu. Of course, you can use the mouse, function keys, or arrow keys as well. "To select from a menu using the keyboard: 1. Hold down MENU and press the underlined key in the menu name you want. For example, if you want to open the File menu, hold down MENU and press F. The File menu opens. 2. Once the menu is open, press the letter of the choice you want.
