Function COS (angle) COSH (value) DEGREES PI ( ) RADIANS SIN (angle) SINH (angle) TAN (angle) TANH (angle) Description Example Returns the cosine of an angle, expressed in radians. If you know an angle in degrees, you can use the RADIANS function to convert it to radians. =COS(1.5) returns 0.070737. =COS(RADIANS(40))returns 0.766044. Returns the hyperbolic cosine of a value =COSH(2) returns 3.762196. Convertsradians to degrees. Value of π (3.141592653589793). You must include the empty parentheses. Converts degrees to radians. Returns the sine of an angle expressed in radians. If you know an angle in degrees, you can use the RADIANS function to convert it to radians. Returns the hyperbolicsine of an angle, expressed in radians. Returns the tangent of an angle. You must express angle in radians. If you know an angle in degrees, you can use the RADIANS function to convert it to radians. =SIN(RADIANS(45))returns 0.707. =SINH(0.5) returns 0.521095. =TAN(RADIANS(45))returns 1.0. Returns the hyperbolictangent of an angle. You must express angle in radians. If you know an angle in degrees, you can use the RADIANS function to convert it to radians. =TANH(0.5) returns 0.462117.
