Using Shortcut Keys to Save Time and Work To choose Cut, press CUT key on top row of keyboard. Shortcut keys are keystrokes you can use to perform actions. Using a shortcut key has the same effect as pulling down a menu and selecting a menu choice. If you are familiar with using a keyboard, you may find that using shortcut keys speeds up your work. Ensemble uses two types of shortcut keys: the function keys across the top of the keyboard, and control key combinations (they control" the effect of the key used with them) using CODE, SHIFT, or MENU. To choose Find and Replace, press CODE + F. Shortcut Keys "To select a menu choice by using a shortcut key: 1. Open the menu to see if the choice you want has a shortcut key. Close the menu. 2. If your choice has a submenu (indicated by a right arrow next to the menu item), you can open it by pressing RIGHT ARROW. Shortcut keys
are keystrokes you can use to perform actions. Using a
shortcut key has the same effect as pulling down a menu and selecting a
menu choice. If you are familiar with using a keyboard, you may find that
using shortcut keys speeds up your work.
Ensemble uses two types of shortcut keys: the
function
