"To view the last words that you looked up: Click on History in the Menu bar. The last ten words that you looked up and found are listed with the most recent at the top. "To jumble a word: 1. Select Jumble from the Utilities menu or click on the Jumble icon. The following dialog box appears: 2. Change Minimum Length of word so more words can be found. 3. Click on the Jumble button. The word in the Word box is jumbled" to create new words. Editing the User Dictionary For example, you may not want your name or the name of your company to be considered misspelled even though it is a term that would not be listed in any dictionary. With the User Dictionary, you can personalize the standard dictionary by adding these words so that they are ignored during Spell Check. Clearing the New Word Field does not delete words from the User Dictionary. The User Dictionary allows you to enter words into the system's dictionary so that these words will not be perceived as misspelled by the operating system. This can save you a lot of time when you check your spelling. "To add a word to the User Dictionary: 1. Load the diskette that is holding the User Dictionary into the drive. 2. Under the Edit menu, select User Dictionary. The User Dictionary dialog box appears. 3. Press BACKSPACE to clear the New Word field, and enter the new word you want to become a part of the dictionary. Click on Add New Word; then click on Close. Your new word is now stored in the user dictionary. "To delete a word from the User Dictionary: 1. Under the Edit menu, select User Dictionary. The User Dictionary dialog box appears. 2. Scroll in the Words in User Dictionary box until you find the word you wish to delete. 3. With the word selected, click on the Delete Selected Word button or press MENU + D; then click on Close.
