To enable the voice VLAN, the voice VLAN must be also assigned. At the same time, the VLAN must be an existing static 802.1Q VLAN. To change the voice VLAN, the user must disable the voice VLAN function, and re-issue this command. By default, the global voice VLAN state is disabled. Format enable voice_vlan [ | vlanid ] Parameters - Specify the name of the voice VLAN. The maximum length is 32 characters. The name must be an existing static VLAN name. vlanid - Specify the VLAN ID of the voice VLAN. The ID must be an existing static VLAN ID. - Specify the VLAN ID between 1 and 4094. Restrictions Only Administrator, Operator and Power-User level users can issue this command. Example To enable voice VLAN named v2: 1063
