Format create arpentry Parameters - The IP address of the end node or station. - The MAC address corresponding to the IP address above. Restrictions Only Administrator, Operator and Power-User level users can issue this command. Example To create a static ARP entry for the IP address 10.48.74.121 and MAC address 00:50:BA:00:07:36: DGS-3620-28SC:admin#create arpentry 10.48.74.121 00-50-BA-00-07-36 Command: create arpentry 10.48.74.121 00-50-BA-00-07-36 Success. DGS-3620-28SC:admin# 7-2 delete arpentry Description This command is used to delete a static ARP entry, made using the create arpentry command above, by specifying either the IP address of the entry or all. Specifying all deletes the switch's ARP table. 126
