DGS-3620-28SC:admin# 71-3 config traffic control log state Description This command is used to configure the traffic control log state. When the log state is enabled, traffic control states are logged when a storm occurs and when a storm is cleared. If the log state is disabled, traffic control events are not logged. The log state is only applicable for shutdown mode. Since shutdown mode only support broadcast and multicast storm control, doesn't support unicast storm control. The log only generate for broadcast and multicast storm control. Format config traffic control log state [enable | disable] Parameters state - Specifies the traffic control log state. enable - Specifies that traffic control state will be logged when a storm occurs. disable - Specifies that the traffic control state will be disabled. Restrictions Only Administrator, Operator and Power-User level users can issue this command. Example To configure the traffic log state on the Switch: DGS-3620-28SC:admin# config traffic control log state enable Command: config traffic control log state enable Success. DGS-3620-28SC:admin# 71-4 config traffic trap Description This command is used to configure whether storm control notification will be generated or not while traffic storm events are detected by a SW traffic storm control mechanism. 794
