Format create loopback ipif {} {state [enable | disable]} Parameters - Enter the IP interface name used for this configuration here. This name can be up to 12 characters long. - (Optional) Enter the IPv4 network address of the loopback interface here. It specifies a host address and length of network mask. state - (Optional) Specifies the state of the loopback interface. enable - Specifies that the loopback interface state will be enabled. disable - Specifies that the loopback interface state will be disabled. Restrictions Only Administrator, Operator and Power-User level users can issue this command. Example To create one loopback interface named loopback1 with subnet address 20.1.1.1/8 and enable the admin state: DGS-3620-28SC:admin# create loopback ipif loopback1 20.1.1.1/8 state enable Command: create loopback ipif loopback1 20.1.1.1/8 state enable Success.
