If users use this command to create an SNMP community string, the community string that the user inputs will be displayed as "*", and the user will have to double input (confirm) the SNMP community string when creating an SNMP community. Format create snmp community_masking view [read_only | read_write] Parameters - Enter the MIB view name used here. This name can be up to 32 characters long. read_only - Specifies that the user, using the community string, will have read only access to the switch's SNMP agent. read_write - Specifies that the user, using the community string, will have read/write access to the switch's SNMP agent. Restrictions Only Administrator level users can issue this command.
