M4300 Intelligent Edge Series Fully Managed Stackable Switches no enable password (Privileged EXEC) Use the no enable password command to remove the password requirement. Format Mode no enable password Privileged EXEC passwords min-length Use this command to enforce a minimum password length for local users. The value also applies to the enable password. The length argument is a number in the range 8-64. Default Format Mode 8 passwords min-length length Global Config no passwords min-length Use this command to set the minimum password length to the default value. Format Mode no passwords min-length Global Config passwords history Use this command to set the number of previous passwords that can be stored for each user account. When a local user changes his or her password, the user is not be able to reuse any password stored in password history. This ensures that users do not reuse their passwords often. The number argument is a number in the range 0-10. Default Format Mode 0 passwords history number Global Config no passwords history Use this command to set the password history to the default value.
