M4300 Intelligent Edge Series Fully Managed Stackable Switches no logging syslog port This command disables syslog logging. Format Mode no logging syslog port Global Config logging syslog usb This command configures a USB device for the storage of syslog messages. Format Mode logging syslog usb file-name Global Config logging syslog source-interface This command configures the syslog source-interface (source IP address) for syslog server configuration. The selected source-interface IP address is used for filling the IP header of management protocol packets. This allows security devices (firewalls) to identify the source packets coming from the specific switch. If a source-interface is not specified, the primary IP address of the originating (outbound) interface is used as the source address. Format Mode logging syslog source-interface {unit/slot/port | {loopback loopback-id} | {vlan vlan-id} {tunnel tunnel-id | serviceport}} Global Config Parameter unit/slot/port loopback-id tunnel-id vlan-id Description VLAN or port-based routing interface. Configures the loopback interface to use as the source IP address. The range of the loopback ID is 0 to 7. Configures the tunnel interface to use as the source IP address. The range of the tunnel ID is 0 to 7. Configures the VLAN interface to use as the source IP address. The range of the VLAN ID is 1 to 4093.
