DGS-3130 Layer 3 Stackable Managed Switch CLI Reference Guide Usage Guideline The LLDP transmission interval must be greater than or equal to four times of the transmission delay timer. Example This example shows how to configure the transmission delay timer to 8 seconds. Switch# configure terminal Switch(config)# lldp tx-delay 8 Switch(config)# 48-16 lldp tx-interval This command is used to configure the LLDPDUs transmission interval on the Switch. Use the no form of this command to revert to the default setting. lldp tx-interval SECONDS no lldp tx-interval Parameters SECONDS Specifies the interval between consecutive transmissions of LLDP advertisements on each physical interface. The range is from 5 to 32768 seconds. Default By default, this value is 30 seconds. Command Mode Global Configuration Mode. Command Default Level Level: 12. Usage Guideline This interval controls the rate at which LLDP packets are sent. Example This example shows how to configure LLDP updates to be sent every 50 seconds. Switch# configure terminal Switch(config)# lldp tx-interval 50 Switch(config)# 48-17 snmp-server enable traps lldp This command is used to enable the LLDP and LLDP-MED trap state.
