DGS-3130 Layer 3 Stackable Managed Switch CLI Reference Guide 76-19 snmp-server trap-sending disable This command is used to disable the port's trap sending state. Use the no form of this command to enable the port's trap sending state. snmp-server trap-sending disable no snmp-server trap-sending disable Parameters None. Default By default, this option is enabled. Command Mode Interface Configuration Mode. Command Default Level Level: 12. Usage Guideline Use this command to disable the port to send SNMP notification traps out of the configured port. If the sending is disabled, then SNMP notification traps generated by the system are not allowed to transmit out of the port. The SNMP traps generated by other system and forwarded to the port is not subject to this restriction. Example This example shows how to disable the sending of the notification traps out of ethernet 1/0/8. Switch# configure terminal Switch(config)# interface ethernet 1/0/8 Switch(config-if)# snmp-server trap-sending disable Switch(config-if)# 76-20 snmp-server service-port This command is used to configure the SNMP UDP port number. Use the no form of this command to revert to the default setting. snmp-server service-port PORT-NUMBER no snmp-server service-port Parameters PORT-NUMBER Specifies the UDP port number. The range is from 1 to 65535. Some numbers may conflict with other protocols. Default By default, this number is 161. 779
