Parameters VLAN-ID , - DGS-3130 Layer 3 Stackable Managed Switch CLI Reference Guide Specifies the ID of the VLAN as a sub-VLAN. The valid VLAN ID range is from 1 to 4094. (Optional) Specifies a series of VLANs, or separate a range of VLANs from a previous range. No space is allowed before and after the comma. (Optional) Specifies a range of VLANs. No space is allowed before and after the hyphen. Default None. Command Mode VLAN Configuration Mode. Command Default Level Level: 12. Usage Guideline A sub-VLAN is a Layer 2 broadcast domain. This command is used to configure the sub-VLANs of a super VLAN. A sub-VLAN can only belong to one super VLAN. Private VLANs and Super VLANs are mutually exclusive. Example This example shows how to configure VLANs 5, 6 and 7 as the sub-VLANs of the super VLAN 10. Switch#configure terminal Switch(config)#vlan 10 Switch(config-vlan)#supervlan WARNING: Proxy ARP will be enabled automatically on this super VLAN. Switch(config-vlan)#subvlan 5-7 Switch(config-vlan)# 81-3 subvlan-address-range This command is used to configure the IP address range of a sub-VLAN. Use the no form of this command to remove the IP address range of a sub-VLAN. subvlan-address-range START-IP-ADDRESS END-IP-ADDRESS no subvlan-address-range [START-IP-ADDRESS END-IP-ADDRESS] Parameters START-IP-ADDRESS END-IP-ADDRESS Specifies the start IP address of this sub-VLAN. Specifies the end IP address of this sub-VLAN. Default None. 827
