radius-server key c e s Configure a key for all RADIUS communications between the switch and the RADIUS host server. Syntax Parameters Defaults Command Modes Command History Usage Information Related Commands radius-server key [encryption-type] key To delete a password, enter no radius-server key. encryption-type key (OPTIONAL) Enter either zero (0) or 7 as the encryption type for the key entered. The options are: • 0 is the default and means the key is not encrypted and stored as clear text. • 7 means that the key is encrypted and hidden. Enter a string that is the key to be exchanged between the switch and RADIUS servers. It can be up to 42 characters long. Not configured. If the key parameter in the radius-server host command is configured, the key configured with the radius-server key command is the default key for all RADIUS communications. radius-server host Configure a RADIUS host. radius-server retransmit c e s Configure the number of times the switch attempts to connect with the configured RADIUS host server before declaring the RADIUS host server unreachable.
