Usage Information The higher the administrative distance assigned to a route means that your confidence in that route is low. Routes assigned an administrative distance of 255 are not installed in the routing table. Syntax Parameters Defaults Command Modes maximum-paths {ebgp | ibgp} number To return to the default values, enter no maximum-paths. ebgp ibgp number Enter the keyword ebgp to enable multipath support for External BGP routes. Enter the keyword ibgp to enable multipath support for Internal BGP routes. Enter a number as the maximum number of parallel paths.
