ftp-server topdir c e s Specify the top-level directory to be accessed when an incoming FTP connection request is made. Without a top-level directory path specified, the FTOS directs users to the flash directory when they log in to the FTP server. Related Commands ftp-server enable ftp-server username Enables FTP server functions on the E-Series. Set a username and password for incoming FTP connections to the E-Series. ftp-server username c e s Create a user name and associated password for incoming FTP server sessions. Syntax ftp-server username username password [encryption-type] password Parameters username password password encryption-type Enter a text string up to 40 characters long as the user name. Enter the keyword password followed by a string up to 40 characters long as the password. Without specifying an encryption type, the password is unencrypted. (OPTIONAL) After the keyword password enter one of the following numbers: • 0 (zero) for an unecrypted (clear text) password • 7 (seven) for hidden text password. Defaults Not enabled.
