Syntax Parameters Command Modes Usage Information Related Commands Command History debug ip bgp [ip-address | peer-group peer-group-name] [in | out] To disable all BGP debugging, enter no debug ip bgp. ip-address peer-group peer-group-name in out Enter the IP address of the neighbor in dotted decimal format. Enter the keyword peer-group followed by the name of the peer group. (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword in to view only information on inbound BGP routes. (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword out to view only information on outbound BGP routes. EXEC Privilege To view information on both incoming and outgoing routes, do not include the in and out parameters in the debugging command. The in and out parameters cancel each other; for example, if you enter debug ip bgp in and then enter debug ip bgp out, you will not see information on the incoming routes.
