Usage Information You must include the colon (:) when entering this command. This command checks the specified flash memory for errors. If errors are found, the command will recommend that you format the flash. Related Commands Caution: If you elect to format the flash, all files, including the startup configuration file will be lost. If you do decide to format the specified flash, consider saving the running config as the startup config (use the write memory command or copy run start). copy show file show file-systems Copy the current configuration to either the startup-configuration file or the terminal.
