4 Building Workspaces Collapse button The Source Options dialog appears. 4. Enable the Collapse button. The image sequence is collapsed into one thumbnail preview. 5. Select the thumbnail preview. It appears in the bottom portion of the browser. 6. To import the entire sequence as a single layer, click OK (ENTER). The sequence is imported into the layer. 7. If you want to import a portion of the image sequence, select the thumbnail preview, then click the Source Options button. Source Options button 8. To import a subset of the sequence, do one of the following: • Enter the first and last images to import in the First and Last fields. • Enter the first image to import in the First field and the enter the duration of the sequence subset in the Duration field. • Enter the last image to import in the Last field, and enter the duration of the sequence subset in the Duration field. 9. Select a frame rate from the Frame Rate list, or enter the required value in the Frame Rate field. 10.Select a pixel aspect ratio from the Pixel Aspect Ratio list, or enter the required value in the Pixel Aspect Ratio field. 11.Select an interlacing option from the Frame Separation list, and then click OK to close the Source Options dialog. Note: The frame rate and pixel aspect ratio you specify for a sequence are independent from the composite frame rate and pixel aspect ratio. Normally, you want these parameters to match, but you can change them in the source footage or composite as needed. 12.Click OK (ENTER) to import the selected image or image sequence. 100
