Adding Markers to Operators and Layers ❚❘❘ • Double-click the marker, and in the Marker dialog, enter the new position of the marker in the Time field and click OK (ENTER). To navigate a Composite using the markers: 1. Select the Composite operator in the Timeline (F4). 2. Do one of the following: • Click the Previous Marker button or press CTRL+SHIFT+M to go to the previous Composite operator marker. Click the Next Marker button or press SHIFT+M to go to the next Composite operator marker. • SHIFT-click the Previous Marker button to go to the previous marker within the Composite branch or SHIFT-click the Next Marker button to go to the next marker within the Composite branch. To navigate a layer using its markers: 1. Select the layer in the Timeline (F4). 2. In the Playback controls, click the Previous Marker button to go to the previous layer marker, and click the Next Marker button to go to the next layer marker. To delete markers: Do one of the following: • Right-click a marker and select Delete This Marker. • Right-click a marker and select Delete All Markers. When you select Delete All Markers, all markers along the current operator or layer duration bar are deleted. To edit a marker: 1. Right-click a marker and choose Edit. The Marker dialog appears. Note: You can also double-click a marker to access the Marker dialog. Marker comment field Marker color indicator Use the Marker dialog to: • Add comments to markers. • Change the color of the markers. • Change the markers' location. • Lock the markers. • Navigate to the next or previous marker. 2. To add a comment to a marker, type the comment in the Marker comment field and click OK. A dot appears on the marker indicating the marker is commented. Markers commented 3. To change the color of a marker, click a marker color indicator. The color of the current marker changes to the selected color. If you add markers to the current layer or operator, the color of the markers is the color you selected. Markers you added prior changing the color retain their default colors. 131
