17 Paint: Drawing Basics The Outline Color, Opacity, and Size are supported for output to .swf file format. Note: The result Text Outlines exported to Adobe Flash may differ from the Text outlines created in Combustion because the Text outline attributes and behavior are different in Adobe Flash. Combustion Text outlines exported to Adobe Flash .swf file format are treated and behave as in Adobe Flash. Maximum Number of Gradient Tags Supported for Output to .swf File Format A maximum of eight Color gradient tags and a maximum of eight Opacity tags are supported for .swf output. However, all eight Color tags and Opacity tags must be aligned. The reason for this is that in Adobe Flash, Color and Opacity are combined. In this example, all five Color gradient tags and three Opacity gradient tags are supported for output to .swf file format. If you wanted to add more tags, you could add up to a total of eight tags that would all be supported for output to .swf file format, as long as all tags are aligned to occupy a maximum of eight different positions. Note: Color gradient tags take priority over Opacity gradient tags. If you have eight Color gradient tags and seven Opacity gradient tags of which six out of the seven Opacity gradient tags are aligned with the Color gradient tags, all eight Color gradient tags and six of the seven Opacity gradient tags are supported for output to .swf file format. The sixth Opacity gradient tag is not supported as it is not aligned with any of the Color gradient tags. This means that for all eight Color gradient tags and eight Opacity gradients tags to be supported for output to .swf file format, the maximum number of positions for Color and Opacity gradient tags is eight. So, if you want to have as many tags as possible supported for output to .swf, all eight Color and eight Opacity tags must be aligned. Other scenarios are also possible. For example, you can add five Color gradient tags and three Opacity gradient tags and position them so none are aligned. 478
