Note: All basic brush attributes, such as Size, Aspect, Angle, Spacing, Flow, Airbrush, and AntiAlias, and Transform with Object are available with custom brushes. 4. Use the custom brush to paint as you would any other brush. To edit a custom brush: 1. Open the workspace in which you created the custom brush. To edit a brush, the workspace must contain the brush source. 2. Select the brush you want to edit in the Brushes palette. 3. In the Brush Source controls, click Edit. Note: If the Edit button is unavailable, the brush has already been committed and cannot be changed. Editing and Saving Custom Brushes Custom brushes are linked to their brush source in the workspace, whether the brush source is a Paint operator, a Particles operator, or a Footage operator. Once you create a custom brush, you can go back to the custom brush source and edit the brush as required. The custom brush is updated to reflect your changes. Brush sources must be saved with the workspace if you want to change the custom brushes. If the brush source is not saved, the custom brush cannot be edited. To save custom brushes in their current form, you can commit them. Once you commit the brush, the brush source is deleted from the workspace and you can no longer edit it. Note: Deleting the brush source (the Paint, Particles, or Footage operator) from the workspace has the same effect as committing the brush. The custom brush source is displayed in the active viewport. Note: You can also select the brush source branch in the Workspace panel or Schematic view. 4. Note:

All basic brush attributes, such as Size,

Aspect, Angle, Spacing, Flow, Airbrush, and Anti-

Alias, and Transform with Object are available

with custom brushes.

Use the custom brush to paint as you would any

other brush.

Editing and Saving Custom Brushes

Custom brushes are linked to their brush source in

the workspace, whether the brush source is a Paint

operator, a Particles operator, or a Footage operator.

Once you create a custom brush, you can go back to

the custom brush source and edit the brush as

required. The custom brush is updated to reflect

your changes.

Brush sources must be saved with the workspace if

you want to change the custom brushes. If the brush

source is not saved, the custom brush cannot be

edited.

To save custom brushes in their current form, you

can

commit

them. Once you commit the brush, the

brush source is deleted from the workspace and you

can no longer edit it.

Note:
