2 Welcome to Combustion Resizing Screen Elements You can dynamically resize the height and width of the viewports. To resize the viewport height: 1. Move the cursor to the space between the viewports and the timeline controls. The cursor indicates you will resize the viewports and bottom menu area. 2. Click and drag to position the guide. To resize the viewport width: 1. Move the cursor to the space between the viewports and the workspace panel. Note: You can only resize the viewports if the workspace panel is expanded. The cursor indicates you will resize the viewports and side panel area. 2. Click and drag to position the guide. Button Conventions In addition to the standard button types, Combustion uses the following conventions. Reset Buttons Click the Reset button to reset all the parameters under the current heading. Any animation on these parameters, with the exception of expressions, is also reset (all keyframes are deleted). Note: The Reset button does not reset nor delete expressions. Reset button Fields Use fields to set parameter values. There are several methods that you can use to set the value of a field. You can type a specific numeric value, use a slider, or use a calculator. To type a value: 1. Click a field once to change it to a numeric input field. 2. Type a value, and then press ENTER. To use a slider: 1. Click and drag the cursor over a field to change it to a slider. Drag the cursor to the right to increase the value; drag it to the left to decrease the value. There are two kinds of sliders: infinite range sliders and fixed range sliders. Infinite range sliders display diagonal stripes when you drag them.
