Saving a Workspace ❚❘❘ Saving a Workspace You can save a workspace under its current name or save it with another name. Note: You can use the Increment On Save preference to automatically append a number to the filename each time you save, creating multiple versions. For detailed information, see "Setting General Preferences" in Chapter 2, "Welcome to Combustion''. Note: Combustion workspaces are saved with the .cws file extension. To save a workspace: 1. Choose File | Save Workspace (CTRL+S). The workspace is saved. If it is the first time you save the workspace, the Save Workspace dialog appears. 2. Navigate to the directory where you want to save your file, or type the path at the top of the dialog. 3. Enter a filename for the workspace in the File field. 4. To append a number to the filename, or to increase the appended number by one digit, click the Increment button . CTRL-click the Increment button to decrease the number. 2. Reverting to a Saved Workspace You can revert to the last saved state of your workspace. Use this when you have made several modifications to your workspace then decide you want to go back to how the workspace appeared when you last saved it. Note: You can only revert to explicitly saved workspaces. To revert to the last saved version of a workspace: Choose File | Revert Workspace. Increment button Each time you click the Increment button, the appended number changes by one digit. 5. Click OK. The workspace is saved under the specified name. To save a workspace with a different name: 1. Choose File | Save Workspace As (CTRL+SHIFT+S). The Save Workspace dialog appears. 121

Saving a Workspace

You can save a workspace under its current name or

save it with another name.

Note:

You can use the Increment On Save preference

to automatically append a number to the filename

each time you save, creating multiple versions. For

detailed information, see

“Setting General

Preferences” in Chapter 2, “Welcome to Combustion’’

Note:

Combustion

workspaces are saved with the

.cws

file extension.

To save a workspace:

Choose File | Save Workspace (

The workspace is saved.

If it is the first time you save the workspace, the

Save Workspace dialog appears.

Navigate to the directory where you want to save

your file, or type the path at the top of the dialog.
