Object with a one-frame duration Editing Objects ❚❘❘ Out point To extend (or shorten) the duration of an object: Do any of the following: • Press , (comma) to set the current frame as the selected object's start frame. • Press . (period) to set the current frame as the selected object's end frame. • Add a keyframe to extend an object's duration. • Drag the in point to extend or shorten an object's duration. Editing Objects After you create an object, you can modify any of its properties at any time. To modify an object's modes properties (color, opacity, draw mode, and so on), use the Modes controls in the Paint Controls panel. For more information, see Modes Controls. To modify an object's transformation properties, use the Transform controls in Paint Controls panel. For more information, see Transform Controls. Changing Object Types Once you create an object, you can change it into one of the other two object types. For instance, if you draw a rectangle, you can change it into a rectangular selection or mask with the same proportions. • Drag the out point to extend or shorten an object's duration. 407
