2 Welcome to Combustion You can remove the operator buttons that you add, but you cannot remove the default operators. To add a favorite to the Operators panel: 1. Show the Operators panel (F5). 2. Select the category that contains the operator you want to add. The categories are the same as the submenus in the Operators menu. 3. Click Add Favorite. The cursor changes to Favorites mode. to indicate Add to Note: The Add Favorite button is unavailable when the Favorites category is selected. Click the operator button. A new button is added to the Favorites category. Note: There cannot be two buttons for the same operator in the Favorites category. To add multiple favorites to the Operators panel: 1. Select the category that contains the operators you want to add. 2. Click Add Favorite. 3. CTRL-click the operators you want to add. 4. Select another category that contains the operators you want to add. 5. CTRL-click the operators you want to add. As you customize the Favorites category, the Favorites palette updates. The palette shows a maximum of 28 operator buttons. To remove a favorite from the Operators panel: 1. Show the Operators panel (F5). 2. Select the Favorites category. 3. Click Remove. The cursor changes to to indicate Remove from Favorites mode. Note: The Remove button is unavailable when the Favorites category is not selected. 4. Click the operator button. The button is removed from the Favorites category. Note: You cannot remove the default operators in the Favorites category. To remove multiple favorites from the Operators panel: 1. Select the Favorites category. 2. Click Remove. 3. CTRL-click the operators you want to remove. As you customize the Favorites category, the Favorites palette updates. Using the Favorites Palette Like most panels, you can show or hide the Operators panel. You can also show the Favorites palette that contains buttons for the default Favorites, as well as any favorites you add. This floating palette is especially useful when adding operators in the Schematic view. 20
