32 Network Rendering Global Settings: Job Links Panel The Job Links panel lists all jobs, including their priority and status, that have been submitted to the connected manager. You can only access this panel if Use Job Dependency is enabled (on the Main panel). Use the small box next to a job in the Job Dependencies list to indicate that the job you are sending (from the Render Queue) depends on the job in the Job Dependencies list. Refresh button-Refreshes the list of current jobs in the job queue. Job Links Details-The Jobs Links panel contains the following information on the jobs. You can filter what is displayed in the Jobs list by clicking the arrow icons next to the title bar. Click the right arrow to hide the columns, and click the left arrow to show the columns. Job-The job name. Priority-The priority set when the job was submitted, or the new priority given in Backburner Queue Monitor. Status-The job status indicating the job is either Suspended, Waiting, Busy, Idle, or Complete. Waiting can mean waiting for job dependency or waiting for processing because all servers are busy. Progress-The job progress shows the number of rendered frames (for example, 45/300). Submitted-The date and time the job was submitted. Completed-The date and time the job was completed. User-The user who submitted the job. Plugin-The render engine (in this case, the Combustion plugin). Statistics and Log Panels The Statistics and Log panels in the Render Queue dialog do not show network render status. These two panels are used for local (non-network) rendering. When you submit a job, it is sent to the manager. Use the Backburner Queue Monitor to check the progress of the job. Render Queue Preferences In addition to the connection preferences, there are three Timeout fields for Network Render Settings in the Render Queue Preferences dialog. A server is marked as failed if it exceeds any of these values. The default values for following fields are high enough that they are usually adequate: • App Load Timeout-the number of minutes it takes for the Combustion plugin to load at the servers. The default value is 10. • Unload Timeout-the number of minutes it takes for the Combustion plugin to unload at the servers. The default value is 2. • Render Timeout-the number of minutes it takes for the Combustion plugin to complete a task (usually render one frame) at the servers. The default value is 60. Global Settings: Job Links Panel

The Job Links panel lists all jobs, including their

priority and status, that have been submitted to the

connected manager. You can only access this panel if
