Tracker Interface ❚❘❘ Tracker Interface The following section provides a brief description of all the tools available in the Tracker. It is intended as a quick reference. Learn more about how to use these tools later on in the chapter. To show or hide the Tracker panel: Choose Window | Palettes | Show/Hide Tracker. Tracker Status Bar The Tracker status bar indicates the number and kind of elements currently selected in the viewport. Tracker status bar indicates whether you are tracking the background clip, or the clip with any Paint objects on top of it. This also applies to the Particles operator. Track Buttons In a Paint and Particles operator, these buttons are available when you select an object. In a Composite operator, these buttons are available when you select a layer and a source. Use them to add Trackers and to turn off the tracking process. Position-Adds a Tracker to track position. Scale-Adds two Trackers to track scale. Rotation-Adds two Trackers to track rotation. Off-Turns the tracking process off. When you do this, the Tracker folders are removed from the Timeline since the Tracker data has already been applied to the object(s) or layer(s). If you want to save the Tracker data separately, you can use the Import Data and Export Data buttons before turning tracking off. For more information, see Importing and Exporting Tracker Data.
